Phillip Smith

Phillip Smith has extensive experience in human resources and employee relations, currently serving as Vice President of People & Culture Global Regions & Employee Relations at Viasat since October 2018. Prior to this role, Phillip held various positions at Toys"R"Us starting in January 2003, including Employee Relations Manager and Regional Human Resource Manager, where responsibilities included managing employee engagement and providing HR leadership across the Western US. Phillip also contributed to Amicus Financial as the Leader of Compensation, Benefits & HR Technology from January 2001 to March 2003, overseeing multiple HR departments and strategic initiatives. Phillip holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Point Loma Nazarene University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
