Ian Salgado is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical consulting and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Presales Technical Consultant at Viatek Group since August 2015, Ian collaborates with the National Sales Team to design effective technical solutions for customers. Prior to this role, Ian held positions as a Senior Systems Engineer at TechSpecialist, where a reliable backup solution for Hyper-V was developed, and as a Senior Systems Engineer at AFS Technologies, where multiple systems, including Windows server domains and Exchange email systems, were designed and implemented. Earlier experience includes roles as an IT Systems Administrator at Equiset and a Project Scientist at James Hardie Building Products. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science from the University of Technology Sydney.
