Sameh Yamany

Sameh Yamany is a highly experienced technology executive currently serving as the Corporate Chief Technology Officer at VIAVI Solutions since December 2013, where leadership focuses on innovations such as 5G/6G solutions, AI, quantum communications, and edge computing. Previously, Sameh held the positions of President and CEO at Trendium, where a strategic restructuring led to the introduction of patented technologies in customer experience analytics, and CTO of Monitoring Applications at Tektronix Communications, overseeing product development. Earlier roles include CTO and SVP Engineering at Trendium and academic positions at Old Dominion University and the University of Louisville, where significant research contributions were made in remote medicine applications and novel computer science techniques. Sameh holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville.
