Vibrant started as Deere Harvester Credit Union in 1935 when eight Deere employees contributed $5 each to found the credit union. Since then, the credit union has grown to more than 50,000 members across the U.S. and now manages more than $1 billion in assets. We've also launched Vibrant Coffeehouse & Kitchen with plans to expand across the Midwest in the next few years. Words to Live (and Work) By: We take our core values seriously – they're why Vibrant is a great place to work, a great place to bank, and a great neighbor to the communities where we do business and live. 1. We own every opportunity: In other words, your job description is just a starting point. 2. We are open, honest, and authentic: We're not afraid to speak up when we have a different opinion, and we appreciate others' differences when challenged. We strive to be honest with each other even when we disagree. 3. We are swift and relentless in the pursuit of greatness: When we see an opportunity, we move fast, charge towards it, and face it head-on. We are not afraid of the unknown or different. This mindset allows us to thrive in storms when others can't. 4. We bring contagious energy: Good energy is contagious. When you're excited about the work you do, it ignites excitement that ripples through those around you. 5. We think, speak, and act for the collective good: We are mindful of all constituents, from our members/customers, employees, community, organization, and self. That's why when decisions are made, they are made in a way to support the collective good.
