Kate Broome

Kate Broome is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in legal and management roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Regional General Manager at Vicinity Centres since February 2019, Kate has also held several other key positions within the same organization, including General Manager of Data Innovation & Insights, General Manager of Leasing Legal & Legal Ops, and General Manager of Retail Lease Transactions. Prior to Vicinity Centres, Kate worked as a Legal Counsel and Consultant at lexvoco, providing services on secondment to The University of Melbourne. Kate’s experience also includes leadership roles at UNIQLO as Chief Legal and Administration Officer, and legal advisory positions at QIC Ltd and Herbert Geer. Kate began a legal career as a lawyer at McCarthy & Associates Law Firm. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University, alongside ongoing studies at the Governance Institute of Australia since February 2022.
