Previously, they held executive positions at Argo Group, SCPC, AIG, Zurich Financial Services, and Watson Wyatt. Throughout their career, Tim has successfully navigated challenges such as SEC investigations, rating agency downgrades, and company divestitures. Tim has consistently driven growth, profitability, and underwriting sophistication in their roles, leading multiple business units and subsidiaries. Tim's expertise spans both domestic and international insurance markets, and they have a proven track record of delivering strong results.
Tim Carter attended Rickmansworth School from 1979 to 1982, and then went on to Haberdashers' Boys' School from 1982 to 1984. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Nottingham from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a degree in Mathematics. Tim then pursued further education at the Institute of Actuaries from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a degree in Casualty.
