Brett Hughes has extensive experience in corporate development and strategy. Brett began their career at Milestone Partners as an Associate, where they closed two platform leveraged buyouts and supported four portfolio companies. In 2014, they joined MediaMath as a Manager in Corporate and Business Development, later becoming a Director in the same department. At MediaMath, they focused on developing partnerships and executing strategic deals. In 2019, they joined VideoAmp as a Senior Director in Corporate Development and Strategy, where they played a key role in shaping the company's corporate strategy and executing acquisitions and partnerships. Brett was later promoted to Vice President and eventually to Senior Vice President, overseeing the company's capital raising and complex commercial opportunities.
Brett Hughes has a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, they attended Phillips Exeter Academy.
