Vergil Smith

Vergil Smith is an experienced IT and security professional currently serving as a Manager in IT & Security at Vidyard since July 2021, while also owning an IT and Security consultancy, Gungnir.ca, since August 2021. Vergil has volunteered as the Director of IT and Information Security for the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network from March 2022 to August 2023. Prior to these roles, Vergil gained extensive retail experience at Jump+ Apple Premium Reseller, The Mobile Shop, and Best Buy Canada, where responsibilities included management, customer service, and technical support. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Guelph.
