Mats Klaar

Board Member at Viedoc

Mats Klaar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mats started their career as a System Developer at Capgemini, where they worked on system development in the telecom and entertainment industry. Mats then joined Communicator InfoSys as a System Developer, Project Manager, and Sales Representative, focusing on system development within R&D in various industries.

Moving forward, Mats worked as a Sales Representative and Business Development professional at Teleca System Design, specializing in account management, business development, and contracting new clients in the Life Sciences sector. Mats later joined Proffice AB, where they held several roles including Key Account Manager, Head of New Accounts, and Sales Director. During their tenure at Proffice AB, Mats managed key accounts in the pharma/biotech industry and was recognized for winning a strategic contract worth 250 MEUR with a big pharma company.

In 2014, Mats joined Dfind IT as a Senior Business Manager before moving on to become a Partner at PÄAB in 2017. In 2015, they also took up the role of VP Sales and Marketing at Viedoc before becoming the CEO in 2016. At Viedoc, Mats was responsible for the worldwide delivery of the eClinical suite, making clinical trials more efficient and safe.

Most recently, Mats became a Board Member at Aurora Innovation in 2021. Additionally, Mats co-founded Makapar Media in 2011, where they served as a co-founder and author.

Mats Klaar completed their high school education from Celsiusskolan, where they pursued the science program. This occurred between 1987 and 1990. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1997, they attended Uppsala University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics.
