Stephan Wirz currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at VIG RE zajišťovna, a.s. since May 2021. Previously, Wirz was a Member of the Board at PRS Prime Re Services, where services related to insurance outsourcing and consultancy were promoted. As CEO of Wubi, innovative primary insurance products and consultancy services for reinsurance and insurance companies were developed. With a long tenure at Swiss Re from 1993 to 2018, Wirz held various influential roles including Market Head for Middle East P&C and L&H, where market strategies for diverse regional operations were implemented. Early career experience includes positions at CWS-boco and Credit Suisse, complementing a strong foundation in business administration education from the Graduate School of Business Administration Zurich and other institutions.
