Lauri Olivier

Lauri Olivier, PhD, MBA, serves as an Associate Professor of Practice and Director of Engineering Entrepreneurship at Villanova University since January 2020. Previously, Lauri held the Sylvester Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship at Lynn University and served as a visiting professor. With extensive experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, Lauri has worked as the Director of Kriisa Research Inc., focusing on disruptive energy sources, and as the Managing Partner and Founder of Innovate Worldwide Consultants, a medical technologies advisory firm. Lauri also held leadership roles at the University of Sydney, where responsibilities included managing commercial activities for the Medical School, and at Northwestern University, overseeing technology licensing and business development for biomedical innovations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
