Robert Becker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Designer at Agentur SOWHAT!. Robert then moved on to Taikonauten GmbH & Co. KG, where they worked as a Designer and later as a Digital Art Director from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, Becker joined IBM iX DACH as a Senior UX Designer, leading the digitalization of the German justice department and supporting projects for clients such as Commerzbank and Airbus. Also in 2017, they started working at eBay, where they held multiple roles including Senior UX Designer, UX Manager for consumer experience, Design System Lead for the motors vertical, and finally UX Manager for seller experience and new markets. During their time at eBay, Becker was responsible for leading design teams and contributing to the company's vision and strategy. In 2020, they co-founded Happy Ann, a platform for sewing enthusiasts, where they shaped the product vision and led design and development until 2022. Currently, Becker is the Head of Product Design & Research at Vimcar, where they lead cross-functional teams, manages a design and research team, and drives business growth through user-centered solutions and design thinking frameworks. Robert Becker obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in MediaDesign from the Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences. Robert pursued their studies at the university from 2009 to 2011.
