Ali Emert Ma

Ali Emert, MA, MS has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in human resources, people operations, and administration. Starting in 2007, Ali worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Sargent's Court Reporting Agency. In 2008, Ali joined W. Jeffrey Carey & Associates as an Administrative Assistant. In 2010, Ali worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at MetLife before transitioning to Lowe's Home Improvement in 2013 as a Human Resources Manager. Ali then joined UPMC in 2016 as a Retention Specialist. Most recently, Ali worked at Vincentian Collaborative System, first as an HR Manager from April 2019 to an unspecified date, and then as Director of People Operations and Engagement from an unspecified date in 2020 onwards.

Ali Emert, MA, MS, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, completing it from 2017 to 2019. In 2021, Ali began pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Ali obtained a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner Certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in May 2017. They also earned a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from HR University in January 2022 and a Certificate in Leadership from HRCI in May 2022.
