Vincentian
James Marnell currently serves as the Director of Pastoral Care and Lay Ministry at Assumption/Saint John Neumann/Sacred Heart Parish Grouping, a position held since May 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating various spiritual and educational parish initiatives. Concurrently, Marnell works as the Pastoral Care Manager for the Vincentian Collaborative System since October 2020. Previous roles include serving as the Center Administrator and Day Program Manager at LIFE Pittsburgh from April 2014 to September 2020, where Marnell coordinated an interdisciplinary team to provide PACE services for eligible adults and developed participant care plans. Earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Program Officer at LifeSpan, Inc. from October 2011 to February 2014. Marnell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Theological Studies from Saint Francis University (1982-1986) and attended Wheeling University from 2011 to 2014.
