Kenna Embree is an experienced manager in community life, currently serving at Vincentian since June 2022, following a role as Independent Living Life Enrichment Coordinator. Prior to this, Kenna held the position of Engagement and Program Coordinator for Intergenerational Initiatives at Penn State Intergenerational Programs from January 2022 to July 2022. Kenna's background includes an internship at Vincentian Collaborative System, where responsibilities included independent living support, as well as experience as a caregiver at a Child Development Center. Additionally, Kenna was a Resident Assistant at Penn State University from August 2019 to May 2021. Kenna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Penn State University, earned in May 2022.

Vincentian is a not-for-profit health care and human services organization that has been serving Pittsburghers of all ages for nearly 100 years. Sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, these ministries offer a continuum of care for more than 500 seniors, including independent living, personal care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. Vincentian also operates two independent living communities in the North Hills, a charitable foundation, and two childcare centers.
