Carlos F. Aguilar

Carlos F. Aguilar is a seasoned executive and board member with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for Nesma & Partners, VINCI, and ERCOT, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Dallas L L C since October 2023, Carlos brings a wealth of leadership experience. Previously, Carlos held the position of CEO & President at Texas Central from December 2016 to June 2022, leading the development of a high-speed passenger railway. Notable past roles include Board Chair at Bounce Imaging, Senior Vice President at CH2M HILL, and senior positions at BrightSource Energy and Bechtel Corporation, where Carlos managed significant energy projects and financing services. Carlos's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University, a Master of Science, and a PhD in Technological Economics from the University of Stirling.
