Jarkko Rantavuori

Jarkko Rantavuori has extensive experience in the software development field. Jarkko began their career at Jyväskylä University Agora Game Lab in 2004, where they worked as a programmer, designer, tester, and project manager for the Gameli project. Jarkko then moved on to roles as a programmer at the Jyväskylä university library and as an architect/developer at Mediavuo. In 2005, they joined Accenture Technology Solutions as a Java Web Application Specialist, a position they held for ten years. In 2015, they joined Vincit as a Software Specialist. In 2018, Jarkko worked as a Software Developer before leaving the company in September 2019. In addition to their employment history, they also completed private work as a Software Developer, focusing on a Delphi based browser application.

Jarkko Rantavuori's education history begins with their undergraduate studies at the University of Helsinki, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki from 2009 to 2014.

Before attending the University of Helsinki, Jarkko studied at the University of Jyväskylä from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained a BA Econ degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Jarkko has obtained multiple certifications. Jarkko received the AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2023. Jarkko also holds the Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer certification from Oracle, which they obtained in November 2021. Before that, they obtained the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer certification in May 2015.

Jarkko has other certifications, such as the Certified Defense Industry Generalist and Certified Technology Architect certifications from Accenture, both obtained in 2015 and 2014, respectively. Jarkko also holds the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle, attained in December 2013. Additionally, they obtained the Spring Certified Professional certification from SpringSource in November 2013 and the Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from ISTQB in May 2013. Lastly, Jarkko achieved the Accenture Certified Application Developer certification from Accenture in July 2008.
