Tommi Talasma

Tommi Talasma has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tommi is currently working as a Software Generalist at Vincit since April 2022. Previously, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Crowdchupa from November 2021 to February 2022. Prior to that, Tommi worked at Visma as a Solution Architect from June 2018 to October 2021.

Before joining Visma, they co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer at DIGITAIKA from March 2017 to March 2020. Tommi also worked as a Solution Architect at Agenteq Solutions Oy from May 2017 to June 2018, focusing on R&D and developing microservice-based cloud platforms in Azure.

Their earlier experiences include being the Development Manager at Econia from September 2012 to May 2017, where they led the IT department and executed various projects, including IT environment standardization, knowledge and HR integrations, and quality management. Prior to that, Tommi worked as a Technical Consultant at Festum Oy from January 2008 to August 2012.

Tommi co-founded and held multiple roles, including Development Manager and Board Member, at Trival Oy from July 2001 to December 2007. During this time, they focused on software development, consulting, and innovative development methods. Tommi also worked as a Software Engineer at RTSe Finland Oy from June 2000 to May 2001, leading a software team in a branch office.

Their earliest work experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Cyberdecades Oy from July 1998 to June 2000. Throughout their career, Tommi has gained extensive expertise in software development, project management, solution architecture, and IT leadership.

Tommi Talasma started their education in 2009 at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the field of Law and Economics. Tommi completed this program in 2011.

After a gap of four years, in 2015, Tommi resumed their education at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. The end year for this program is not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Tommi Talasma also obtained several certifications. In August 2019, they completed the "Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization" from Coursera. In October 2018, they obtained the "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera. In June 2018, Tommi obtained the "Elements of AI" certification from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor.
