Zachary Cross has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Zachary started their career as a Nuclear Reactor Operator/Electronics Technician in the US Navy from September 2004 to September 2010. Following their service in the Navy, they worked as a Pilot Trainee at Sunrise Aviation from August 2012 to December 2013, where they completed various pilot training courses and gained significant flight hours. From March 2014 to March 2016, they worked as a Solar Field Service Technician at Schneider Electric, troubleshooting and repairing solar inverters. In 2018, they joined VineView as the Chief Pilot/Engineer, where they are currently employed. Overall, Zachary's work experience showcases their technical skills, strong customer service abilities, and their passion for aviation and renewable energy.
Zachary Cross has a diverse education history. From 2015 to 2018, they attended the University of Southern California, where they obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Astronautical Engineering. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they attended Excelsior University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician.
During 2012 to 2014, Zachary attended Orange Coast College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Aviation Pilot Training. Before that, from 2009 to 2011, they studied at Coastline College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Electronics Technology.
In addition to their academic achievements, Zachary also possesses several certifications. In December 2013, they obtained their Commercial Pilot ASEL certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Zachary also earned their Instrument Rating and Private Pilot certifications in May and December 2013, respectively. In July 2016, they received the Advanced Ground Instructor certification from the FAA. Lastly, in June 2017, Zachary obtained their Commercial Pilot AMEL certification from the FAA.
