Senior Contract Manager, Foundations at Vineyard Wind

Francisco Guzman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in contract management and procurement within the energy and defense sectors. Currently serving as Senior Contract Manager at Vineyard Wind, Guzman leads contract management activities for the first commercial-scale offshore wind farm in the United States, overseeing the fabrication of the Foundations package. Prior to this role, Guzman held various positions at Ørsted, including Team Lead for Sourcing and Contract Management, where contributions focused on local supplier development for offshore wind projects. Guzman's earlier career in the United States Air Force included significant leadership roles in contract management and acquisition, notably managing multi-million dollar contracts and leading teams to improve service delivery and project execution. Academically, Guzman holds an MBA from Boston University's Questrom School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy.

Vineyard Wind

Vineyard Wind is well underway in developing the nation's first utility-scale offshore wind energy project over 15 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The project will generate clean, renewable, cost-competitive energy for over 400,000 homes and businesses across the Commonwealth, while reducing carbon emissions by over 1.6 million tons per year. New England is shifting to clean, competitively-priced energy, and Massachusetts state law seeks to have 3,200 MW of offshore wind providing electricity to the Commonwealth by 2035, which could represent over 20% of electricity consumed in the state. Vineyard Wind is an important part of that goal, and will make a significant contribution to the Commonwealth’s aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while growing our economy and enhancing energy security and reliability.
