Laurent Morel

Laurent Morel is a seasoned professional in the automotive industry with extensive experience in vehicle engineering and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Vehicle Engineering Inspection Director at VINFAST since August 2024, Laurent is responsible for global vehicle inspection and process improvements. Prior to VINFAST, Laurent held the position of Chief Operating Officer at MENAPS, focusing on the automotive sector. At Renault Group, from March 2019 to September 2023, Laurent worked as Quality VP for Software and Connected Systems, achieving significant improvements in software quality and customer responsiveness. Laurent's previous roles include Global Director of Quality Assurance & Customer Satisfaction at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and Chief Engineer at Delphi, where leadership spanned large teams and complex projects. Laurent holds an engineering degree from Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
