Ben Higson

Ben Higson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as a Partner and head of the corporate practice at Vinson & Elkins since November 2022, Ben previously held a significant role at Hogan Lovells from March 2007 to November 2022, where responsibilities included being a global board member, head of the UK corporate practice, and co-head of UK M&A. Ben developed a robust specialization in cross-border M&A, particularly in the energy, infrastructure, and diversified industrials sectors. Prior to Hogan Lovells, Ben was an Associate and Senior Associate at Allen & Overy from September 1997 to March 2007. Ben's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol and a Legal Practice Course from the University of Oxford.
