Rodrigo Vieira

Rodrigo Vieira has accumulated a wealth of experience in software engineering over the years. Rodrigo most recently worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Vinta Software from 2022, where they utilized their expertise in various software development technologies.

Prior to that, Rodrigo served as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Imperium Markets starting from 2017. In this role, they had the opportunity to work on a range of responsibilities, including developing APIs for financial products, collaborating with the leadership team, recruiting and leading the engineering team, and engaging with customers and stakeholders.

Before joining Imperium Markets, Rodrigo worked at Bravi from 2012. Initially, they took on the position of Technical Lead from 2016 to 2017 and then assumed the role of Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader. During their time at Bravi, Rodrigo played a pivotal role in developing an Educational Management System for multiple educational institutions across various countries.

Rodrigo kick-started their career as a Software Engineer at Confirmit ASA in 2006, where they gained experience in full-stack development and played a part in creating a survey creation and publishing tool.

Additionally, Rodrigo also served as a Senior Consultant at Egroup ASA from 2000 to 2006.

Throughout their career, Rodrigo has demonstrated proficiency in a range of technologies and methodologies, including test-driven development, clean architecture, continuous integration and deployment, REST APIs, and agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.

Rodrigo Vieira completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Oficial) between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that, they pursued a Technician degree in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology from Escola Tecnica Federal do ES, spanning from 1989 to 1992.
