Horatiu Ion has a diverse work experience in software development. Horatiu started their career as a Junior Developer at GFI Software, where they worked on various projects including GFI Web Monitor. Horatiu then joined skobbler and later Telenav as a C++ Developer, working on the Core Components project. At Verint-Systems, they served as a Software Developer, maintaining and developing new features for the C++ Qt UI as well as Perl and Python back-ends. Most recently, they worked at GetStream.io as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Back End Developer at Vio.com (formerly FindHotel). Horatiu is constantly expanding their skill-set and seeks challenging tasks involving unfamiliar technologies.
Horatiu Ion completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from "Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca" from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended "Colegiul National "Andrei Saguna" Brasov" from 2006 to 2010 where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science in high school.
