Majid Hajiheidari

Majid Hajiheidari has a diverse range of work experience. Majid started their career as a High School Robotics and Programming Teacher at Allameh Helli 7, where they successfully ran a course and involved students in various projects.

Majid then joined the University of Tehran as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, where they provided support to students in their studies.

Majid later worked at Cafe Bazaar, first as a Data Scientist in the Ads and User Profiling teams, where they incorporated Apache Spark, Python, and Metabase for A/B experiments and data analysis. Majid also restructured auction mechanisms and pricing algorithms for revenue maximization. Majid then took on the role of Team Leader in the Infrastructure tribe, managing a team of engineers and scientists, and designing and maintaining internal services and data products.

Afterwards, they joined Divar as a Senior Data Scientist, where they played a key role in enhancing the company's data infrastructure. Majid designed a service to process and transfer big data using technologies like Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Amazon S3. Majid also refined a machine learning pipeline for automated fraud detection and improved the performance of legacy data pipeline projects.

Currently, Majid is working at Vio.com as a Senior Data Scientist, where they are utilizing their expertise in data science.

Overall, Majid has demonstrated their strong technical skills and leadership abilities throughout their work experience in various companies and institutions.

Majid Hajiheidari completed a Bachelor of Science in Statistics at the University of Tehran from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma in Mathematics and Physics from Allame Helli 7 between 2013 and 2017. Additionally, Majid has acquired several certifications, including "Financial Markets" from Coursera in April 2020, "Mathematics Summer School 2019" from the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) in August 2019, and "Deep Learning Summer School 2018" from ACM, Association for Computing Machinery in August 2018.
