Rob Pieters

Rob Pieters is an experienced Senior Project Director currently with Vioneo since January 2025, having previously held the same position at Borealis from December 2018 to January 2025, where responsibilities included leading major projects such as a greenfield propylene PDH project and a Borstar® polyethylene plant project. Prior to Borealis, Rob Pieters served as Deputy Project Director at SIBUR, managing significant aspects of the Amur GPP program, and as Project Director for the ZAPSIB-2 Plant Projects. Earlier in the career, Rob Pieters held various project management roles at Wood, McDermott International, Petroplus, Procter & Gamble, and BASF, contributing to engineering and construction projects across multiple countries. Rob Pieters holds an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Robert Gordon University and an MS in Project Management from The University of Manchester, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
