Charlie McHugh

Charlie McHugh is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and training, currently serving as a Corporate Trainer at CORE Languages since May 2016, where responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of learning programs for Bosch International. In addition, Charlie has been an Online Instructional Designer for VIPKID since January 2016, focusing on personalized language and cultural training, and creating rigorous assessments. As Technical Director for Threshold Repertory Theater since June 2017, Charlie produces innovative audio and video content and improves the design process for major projects. Charlie also contributes as an instructor for International Wilderness Medicine Outfitters since 2014, where original curriculum and textbooks have been developed. Previous experience includes a decade as an educator in the Berkeley County School District, where work involved utilizing ADDIE for curriculum standardization, and a role as Technical Support Manager at Michigan State University. Charlie holds an M. Ed in Theatre from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.A. in English/Theatre from Michigan State University.
