Torben Vallund

Torben Vallund is a highly experienced software engineer and architect with a strong background in designing and developing ePayments systems. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Vipps MobilePay since May 2023, Torben focuses on creating a common ePayments platform. Serving as a Senior Software Architect at MobilePay since October 2020, responsibilities include developing business systems within a microservice architecture and fulfilling the role of scrum master. Torben's extensive experience at Danske Bank from 2005 to 2020 involved establishing the architecture of MobilePay and overseeing development teams in India. Previous roles include senior systems engineer at Cryptomathic, software engineer at NETS, and student programmer at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Torben holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Københavns Universitet.
