Rasoul Akbari is a Power Electronic Engineer specializing in high voltage applications, currently employed at Supernal since January 2024. Prior to this role, Rasoul served as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Hyperloop One from August 2022 to December 2023, focusing on the development of mechatronic power systems for electromagnetic actuation in magnetic levitation and propulsion, as well as advanced control algorithms and software development. Rasoul's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University, where Rasoul worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2018 to August 2022, and a Master's degree from Sharif University of Technology, completed in September 2013.
