Becky Schalk Behringer

Becky Schalk Behringer serves as an Environmental Policy Specialist at the Virginia Department of Transportation since January 2020, with a focus on Environmental Procedure Management. Previously held the role of Senior Environmental Planner within the Behringer Family and Locally Administered Projects Coordinator at VDOT. With extensive experience at VDOT dating back to 1997, Becky has taken on various responsibilities, including Environmental Contract Manager, NEPA Document Writer, and Environmental Engineer, managing complex environmental projects and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Virginia Tech and an Associate Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.
