Raymond Ezell, RPA, currently serves as the Cultural Resources Manager for the Virginia Department of Transportation since October 2011, overseeing the cultural resources program for Fredericksburg, NoVA, and Culpeper Districts and ensuring compliance with the Secretary of the Interior's requirements. Previous roles include District Archaeologist at VDOT and Senior Archaeologist at ECS Limited, among others. Raymond holds notable positions in various historical organizations, including President of the Board of Directors at the Orange County Historical Society and Historian & Executive Board Member for the Virginia Headwaters Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Education includes a Master’s degree in Anthropology with a focus on Public Archaeology from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Political Science from Western Kentucky University.
