Krystal Adebayo

Krystal Adebayo currently serves as the Director of Accounting Operations at the Virginia Retirement System since January 2023. Prior to this role, Krystal held the position of Deputy Finance Director at the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority from December 2021 to December 2022. Krystal's experience includes serving as Controller for the County of Henrico Division of Fire and Accounting Supervisor for the County of Henrico. Earlier roles include Financial Analyst at Genworth and Lead Military Pay Technician with the United States Department of Defense. Krystal holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, as well as an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from the same institution.
