Larand Lancaster

Larand Lancaster serves as the President of IABC/Richmond since September 2011, leading the chapter and liaising with regional and international organizations. Previous roles include Vice President of Communications for the chapter, managing various communication channels and supervising volunteers. As a Senior Business Communication Analyst and Intranet Manager at the Virginia Retirement System since November 2003, Larand oversees agency-wide internal communication for a diverse workforce. Earlier experience includes working as a Marketing/Business Development Specialist at McCandlish Holton and as a Marketing/Administration Assistant at Theatre IV. Larand holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Virginia Tech, along with a Professional Certificate in Strategic Communication Management from Ithaca College/IABC.
