Larry Tentor

Larry Tentor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and research within the financial sector. With a tenure at the Virginia Retirement System since January 2007, Larry has held the positions of Portfolio Manager, Director of Research, and Research Manager for Investment Decision Support Systems. Prior to this, Larry served as Manager of Quantitative Strategies at Dominion Resources, Inc. from May 2003 to January 2007, and as Manager of Asset Risk Management at PG&E National Energy Group from 2001 to May 2003. Larry began a career in management at Southwestern Company from June 1991 to September 1995. Educationally, Larry holds multiple degrees, including a PhD and MS in Engineering, an MS in Finance from Virginia Tech, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
