Virginia Symphony Orchestra
Gabrielle Pinkney currently serves as the Executive Assistant at the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, beginning in October 2024. Previously, Gabrielle worked as a Junior Legal Research Assistant at the African Community Internet Program, where efforts contributed to implementing internet-engineered backpacks for children in Botswana. With extensive experience in the arts, Gabrielle was a recording artist, actress, and opera singer with Hutson Talent Agency INC from October 2010 to October 2024, and held various leadership roles at Syracuse University, including Social Media Chair for the Renée Crown University Honors Program and President of the Black Honors Society. Gabrielle has also directed the Black Celestial Choral Ensemble and gained operational experience through internships at Syracuse Opera and The Zeiders American Dream Theater. Gabrielle holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Industry with a minor in African American Studies from Syracuse University.

The Virginia Symphony is at the center of the Hampton Roads arts community, and in many ways serves as the cultural cornerstone for the region. Each year, the orchestra presents a series of Classics, Pops and Family concerts in Norfolk, Newport News, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.
