Brock Mayers is currently the Dean of Students at Virginia Union University. Prior to their current position, Brock was the Associate Director of Federal TRiO Programs at Morehouse College from March 2013 to July 2019. In their role at Morehouse College, Brock was responsible for a staff of 17 and managed a $500,000 annual budget for two Title IV grants. Brock also provided educational leadership in the development of curriculum and the implementation of instructional programs for the Morehouse College Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program and the Greater Orlando Upward Bound Math/Science Program. Additionally, Brock created and coordinated all outreach and counseling activities for the Morehouse College Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program and the Greater Orlando Upward Bound Math/Science Program. Brock has a wealth of experience advising persons seeking postsecondary education and maintaining individual caseload reports, records, and documentation.

Brock Mayers has a Doctor of Education from Drexel University in Educational Leadership and Management with a concentration in Human Resources Development. Brock also has a Master of Science from Hofstra University in Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies. Their undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Morehouse College.
