Avery Spiel

Avery Spiel is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Virta Health since September 2019, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer. In addition to current responsibilities at Virta Health, Avery holds positions as a Board Member for Walk San Francisco and as the Owner of City Parks Passports, focusing on creating an engaging scratch-off guide for San Francisco playgrounds. Prior to these roles, Avery was a Founding Software Engineer at Minerva Project, where contributions included launching four major products from concept to deployment. Earlier experience includes full-stack web and mobile engineering at The Second Glass, and engineering roles at Artaic and ThermaCELL. Avery holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.
