Conor Dunne

Conor Dunne is an accomplished professional with a background in both finance and physics, currently serving as a Trading Operations Analyst at Virtu Financial since August 2023. Prior to this role, Conor worked as a Computational Scientist at the Irish Centre for High-End Computing ICHEC, where the focus was on Python software development and research in quantum natural language processing from June 2021 to August 2023. Additional experience includes a position as a Teaching Assistant at Trinity College Dublin, specializing in Advanced Classical Mechanics, and working as a Research Physicist at QUSYS under Professor John Goold, investigating quantum many-body physics problems. Conor holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin.
