Almaz Nanjappa

Almaz Nanjappa is an experienced entrepreneur and technology leader, currently serving as EIR at Nyca Partners while also being the CEO and founder of Grit, a venture backed by Nyca. With a strong background in founding and leading companies, Nanjappa has held key positions such as founder and board member at Virtual Visions, co-founder at Aven and LivDemy, and a technology advisor at Razor USA LLC. Nanjappa previously served as SVP of Innovation and Strategy at Cognizant Softvision and CEO of Momentus Software Inc., which was acquired by Softvision. Earlier career highlights include Principal/Engineering Manager at Barnes & Noble and CEO of AweRena Software, which achieved a successful IP acquisition by Verizon. Nanjappa holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
