Aéko Ongodia

Mr. Aéko Ongodia is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of XENO Investment Management, a licensed Fund Manager that uses technology to help Ugandans plan, save and invest for their financial goals. Previously, he spent 4 years as a Portfolio Manager at NSSF Uganda where he was responsible for constructing and executing the investment strategy of a portfolio of U$1.3 billion in assets under management across the East African region. He also spent 5 years at the Bank of Uganda in several roles that concluded with heading the stress testing and risk modelling. Mr. Ongodia holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University, New York, USA, Master of Science in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Cass Business School, London, England, and Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
