Mel Tobiasz Shady

Mel Tobiasz Shady is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and marketing across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist for VSP Vision, Mel supports media relations and earned media initiatives. Previously held the role of Senior Marketing Communications Specialist at Duluth Trading Company, where leadership of earned media strategy and corporate communication was key. Mel has also managed marketing and communications for Susan G. Komen Wisconsin as Communications Manager, overseeing media outreach and campaign strategies, and contributed to public relations efforts for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism and Southwest Airlines through various internship positions. Mel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Communications and Digital Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
