Tariq Khan

Tariq Khan has extensive experience in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Tariq is currently serving as the VP-Machine Learning and Data Science, also known as the Chief Data Scientist, at Visionet Systems Inc. Since joining the company in January 2021, Tariq has been responsible for leading the machine learning and data science initiatives.

Before joining Visionet Systems, Tariq worked at Systems Limited as the Chief Data Scientist and VP-Machine Learning and Data Science from August 2017. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in developing and managing the Retail Predictive stack on Azure Cloud and Amazon AWS Sagemaker. Tariq also designed algorithms, performed feature creation and selection, and identified alternate predictive data sources in the retail and banking sectors.

Prior to their position at Systems Limited, Tariq worked at Wanclouds Inc. as an Artificial Intelligence Architect from October 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, they served as the Research Development Lead at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan, from December 2012 to July 2017.

Tariq Khan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Tariq then pursued a Master of Science degree in Machine Learning from the same university, which they successfully obtained between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Tariq is currently enrolled in a PhD program at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, specializing in Deep Learning and Robotics.
