Guillaume Martin has over 20 years of work experience in the optics industry. Guillaume currently holds the position of VP Group Quality at Visionix since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EssilorLuxottica as the Director, Group Lens Quality & Customer Satisfaction from 2021 to 2023. Guillaume also has extensive experience at Essilor, where they held various roles including Global Engineering - Quality Director from 2018 to 2021, Group Quality - Head Of Product Development from 2016 to 2018, Senior Engineering Project Manager from 2012 to 2016, Engineering Manager from 2007 to 2012, and Process Engineer from 2003 to 2007. Guillaume began their career with an engineering internship at Saint-Gobain in 2002. Throughout their career, Guillaume has worked on a wide range of projects, focusing on product development, quality assurance, supply chain optimization, and engineering management.
Guillaume Martin attended Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers from 2000 to 2003. Guillaume studied New Product Design and Industrialization during this time. In 2010, they also completed a Management Development Program at ESSEC Business School with a focus on Essilor Management Development Program.

As the population steadily increases, so does the number of eye diseases and disorders. As a result, the number of available eye care professionals haven't been able to keep up with the population's needs. That, combined with the increasing wait time for appointments, represent a crucial public health issue. We want to provide patients worldwide with better access to eye health resources. We deeply believe that thorough research and understanding of the existing challenges and innovation through multimodal technology, automation, miniaturization and AI will be key to unlocking the potential of eye care professionals to best serve their patients.
