Visions In Education Charter School
We are a tuition-free public school that supports alternatives in public education. We provide a high-quality standards-based education to Home School families (TK-8) and Independent Study High School students (9-12), including our University Prep High School (9-12) Program. We now serve over 7,000 students across our nine-county service area, making us one of the largest and most stable charter schools in the Sacramento Valley region. Our credentialed teachers meet with students in their home or community and they personalize their educational plan to help them graduate and succeed, as they have for thousands of other Visions In Education students. We are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and proud members of several leading educational and professional associations which set high standards and keep us accountable to best practices. Our service area includes Amador, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter and Yolo counties. Visions In Education prepares each student to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Our school values are learning, relationships, integrity, accountability, innovation, respect and service.
