Carlos Medina is an experienced engineering leader with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at both Local Hero and Visiqua since January 2021, Carlos is responsible for implementing advanced AI solutions that add value to industries, including leading the innovation labs at Visiqua. Previously, as the Founder of SportsAI, Carlos developed AI tools for athletes and provided predictive models for strategic insights. Carlos co-founded Roiverify, serving as CTO and implementing AI solutions for digital marketing. With prior roles at Xedia Networks, OptaSmart, Intrax Technologies, Crosshorizons, and Internacional de Sistemas, Carlos has built a robust foundation in software development and operations. Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has furthered education with AI courses at Harvard University.
