Brian Gannon began their work experience in 2008 as a Production Manager at the Texas Film Commission. In 2009, they moved on to Paul Bernhard Exhibit Design, where they held the position of Content Producer & Operations Manager until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, Brian worked at Visit Austin as the Music, Film & Tourism Marketing Manager. Following that, they were promoted to Director of Film Marketing & Austin Film Commissioner until 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Sr. Director of Film Marketing & Media Assets, CFC at Visit Austin.
Brian Gannon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Film Production from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. In November 2018, they also obtained a certification as a Film Commissioner from the AFCI (Association of Film Commissioners International).
