Derek Klomhaus is the Vice President of the Private Equity Foundation at Vista Equity Partners. Derek has over eight years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on private equity and venture capital. Prior to joining Vista Equity Partners, Derek worked as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse, where they advised clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors on strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, equity and debt offerings. Derek has also served as a board observer for Wrike and Zego (Powered by PayLease).
Derek Klomhaus graduated from Montgomery High School and went on to study finance and accounting at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Derek earned their Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley.
