Stefan Mostert has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Stefan started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at Bank Windhoek in 2005 and later worked as a Developer at 6th Line from 2007 to 2009. Stefan then joined Intergraph as a GIS Analyst Programmer, where they upgraded and supported customer GIS sites and worked on internal coding projects. In 2010, they joined Express Couriers as a Web Developer/Analyst, responsible for web development and data analysis until 2014. Stefan then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Findly from 2014 to 2016. Stefan continued their career at Vista, starting as a Software Developer in 2016 and progressing to various leadership roles, including Team Lead, Senior Team Lead, Development Manager, Engineering Manager, and currently holds the position of Head of Engineering - Enterprise since August 2022. Stefan's experience reflects their proficiency in software development, web development, GIS programming, and management roles.
Stefan Mostert completed their B.Comm degree in Computer Science from Stellenbosch University between 1999 and 2003. Prior to that, they attended Windhoek High School from 1993 to 1998, where they pursued HIGCSE with a focus on Mathematics 1, Computer Science 2, and Physical Science 2. Additionally, Stefan has obtained certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, and Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications, in the years 2011 and 2013.
