Tao Wang

Tao Wang is a prominent leader in the electrification sector, currently serving as Global Vice President and CTO of Electrification at Visteon Corporation since March 2021, where responsibilities include technology planning and product portfolio development in electric vehicles and energy storage. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director overseeing electrification technology and business development for key product lines at Visteon, and a significant tenure at General Motors from 2010 to 2021, culminating as Group Manager for Autonomous Vehicle and Hybrid System Integration. In earlier roles, Tao Wang contributed to the development of energy storage systems at GE and led teams on innovative energy storage technologies. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from Fudan University.
