Tim Schroeder is a seasoned software engineer and game designer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently working at Visual Concepts since November 2003, Schroeder specializes in engineering and game design for franchise mode in 2K Sports games. Prior experience includes a role at Cranky Pants Games from 2002 to 2003, where Schroeder ported Red Faction 2 and Summoner 2 to the GameCube and contributed to physics programming for a third-person action-adventure title. At Volition, Inc. from 1999 to 2002, Schroeder was responsible for writing game physics and developing art pipeline tools for Red Faction. Earlier in the career, Schroeder worked at NovAtel Inc from 1995 to 1998, creating Windows software for GPS visualization and tracking. Tim Schroeder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Victoria, completed in 1998, and attended Okanagan College prior to that.
